Professor Peter Olmsted elected a Fellow of the Society of Rheology

Professor Peter Olmsted has been elected a Fellow of the Society of Rheology. Fellows are selected based on distinguished scientific achievement, significant technological accomplishment, and/or outstanding scholarship in the field of Rheology. Service to the Society is also an important component to Fellowship status. Professor Olmsted was cited for “advancing theory and simulation across many contexts of rheology, including significant contributions to models of shear banding.”
