Active Materials Project Summer School

The Active Materials Project summer school will run from Sunday, June 11th through Thursday, June 15th, 2017 on the Campus of Georgetown University. The event will bring together graduate students with an interest in active matter, emergence, nonlinear dynamics, and bio-inspired systems. The school will be composed modular courses that are focused on the foundations of biological and synthetic active matter. This school will be co-convened with a similar school for graduate students in Philosophy to discuss and learn about the big questions surrounding active matter.
